So yeah… Heath Ledger died.
A housekeeper and a masseuse who stopped by for an appointment found him dead, laying face down in his apartment in NYC’s SoHo district. It is looking like an overdose because some pills were found by his body. I know he has a little girl… that’s really sad. I remember when I was 12, I had a 10 Things I Hate About You poster on my wall. I was a bit of a fan 
In other news, my mom was walking her dog today and slipped on some ice and cracked her head on the pavement. She had to call the ambulance and they took her to the hospital and put two staples in her head. They had to shave a little spot, and it looks silly but other than that, she’s fine. It was really scary because there was so much blood. My Nana’s mother (my great-grandmother) died from a bad fall back in the 40s or 50s. Apparently she was bringing a pie to her neighbor, slipped on some ice and died a few days later from an infection of some sort. I was just telling my mom, a habitual “faller”, that she’d end up like Nana’s mom if she wasn’t careful, and sure enough… this happens.
SO WEIRD TO ME THAT HE DIED. I didn’t believe it at first when my friend txt’d me saying that. I was like “wait what?? No more Heath Ledger as in The Joker?? Did they decide he was horrible??!! Or wtf are you talking about?” & then he said “no, he died like two hours ago.” So I had to look it up online… :/
At least his last film was The Dark Knight… I heard he was brilliant as The Joker. Even better than Jack Nicholson… we’ll see about that.
That’s so scary that your mom fell! I’m glad she’s doing alright, though… yikes! I would cry if that happened to my mom. She’s so tiny and fragile!! :(

Arwen called me at work to tell me about Heath! I was actually more excited to find out that I knew about it before the annoying gossip queen at my job. It’s crazy considering how young he was and all.
That’s really scary about your mom. I don’t know how I’d react in that kind of situation. I’d probably run to the corner and cry a lot. But I’m glad your mom’s doing okay.

It is very sad that he died, he was a very good actor and I love Ten things I hate about you! i could tell something was up with him though, he was starting to look a little rough.
Ah your ma needs to be more careful! Someone should like hold her hand or something..I can’t really talk I’ve had a few slip and fall on ice accidents myself.

I about lost it when Heath passed away. I was a huge fan of A Knight’s Tale and Ned Kelly. Sad he had to go like that. I first heard it on the radio about an hour after it happened. I was kind of in disbelief at first. Very tragic.
AHH to people falling!! My grandmother fell recently and broke her ankle and leg. Hope your mom will be doing much better!

I think we were all shocked at the news of Heath Ledger’s death. I heard a blurb about it on the news, and thought I’d heard wrong. It wasn’t until I got online and saw the article on Yahoo! News that I actually believed it was true.

Oh my goodness! It is a good thing that your mom is all right. I would have been scared too if something like that happened to my mother.
I can’t believe Heath Ledger died either. :( It was just the other day I saw him at the Oscars with Michelle WIlliams and thought they were a good couple.
