Something about dead presidents and roller coasters.
Welcome the Plague Year - Quiet. Still. Dead.I’m enjoying the whole President’s Day thing. No classes for 4 days straight.
Justin and I finished all 3 seasons of Dexter, and now it’s a waiting game for the next season. It’s definitely a fun process getting into a show once there are already multiple seasons. You can just download them all, burn them, and have a marathon for a couple weeks. I guess it could be viewed as pathetic as well, but we don’t have many friends. Actually, we have two couples that we are friendly with but we take no initiative to actually do stuff with them. I keep telling Justin that we need to go to the movies with them or something because I’m bored as hell. Chris and Brandy are our “punk friends” and Brian and Holly are our “less punk friends”. It’s a good mix, because Justin and I are the “totally fucking punk friends” hahaha. Psych. We are pretty badass though.
I don’t know if I ever blogged about it, but we were supposed to go to Italy this coming summer, but back in December we found out we didn’t actually have the money we thought, so now we have to wait two more years. It sucks, blah blah blah, but hopefully this summer we will get to do something stateside. Justin mentioned going to Great Adventure in NJ which actually is a big deal to me because I haven’t been there in years, and not since they built that death-wish of a coaster Kingda Ka.

That was like me when I started watching Bleach. Someone had got me into it when there were already 80+ episodes out, so I had a blast being able to watch 4, 5, 6 or more episodes a day. Now I have to wait a week for each episode to come out. Bummer!

That is pretty sucky, I’d be a little bummed too. But the park sounds fun. Well, for you…not me. I’m so afraid of coasters it’s unreal.
You could always take a trip to Chicago and then I could drive down and we could hang. Just saying.
By the way, I’m moving out. I hate my family at the moment and I’m not dealing with it anymore.

Yeah, it turns out they’re not doing anything about her whatsoever. She’s not even grounded. In fact, I’m pretty sure my parents haven’t even brought it up. That’s mainly what pushed me to move out.
I haven’t done much about it yet. Sam’s sister’s going to let us use the bed they have in the spare room and I’m bunking down in Sam’s one-bedroom until August. It’s gonna be a cram but it’ll work.
Uh…I’m just going to write you a letter. Haha.

I’ve heard Dexter is pretty badass. I want to start watching it. It’s about a serial killer who kills killers, right? If you want another show that is amazing start watching True Blood. It’s a really hot show and actually has a good story line. That sucks you have to wait to go to Italy for 2 more years though. What part of Italy are you going to see?

I’ve just gotten into Dexter too. I only watched the first season but I have the next season waiting for me to start sometime soon. I’m not really looking forward to the next seasons because I heard that the first one was the best. I don’t want to watch the new seasons and be disappointed.

Hey Ashley,I’m back ;)
I hope you do remember me and if you like you could put my link back up but of course you don’t have to ;)
So,Dexter is really good? I had planned to watch it when it first aired over here, but it came on too late because I had to get up early next morning :(
LOL about the “punk friends” thing…maybe there should be a scale to determine how punky someone is :D from 1 to 10 or something ;)
That sucks about Italy :( I have been there before, but in a part that had been Austrian before and it seemed so much like Austria or Germany that I didn’t really get the “italian feeling”…

Too bad you’re not able to make that trip to Italy a reality right now, but it gives you something to look forward to for later, right? Silver lining?

Hi there, I just thought I’d stop by and let you know I used some of your images for my WordPress blog. I also thought I’d comment on your blog since you seem like a cool person :D.
Dexter seems like an awesome show, I have yet to watch it but I have a friend who has recommended it to me. Is it worth it to download it with 56k dial-up? xD

Hey Ashley! I love your An Albatross layout. Makes me want to make a new one altogether. ;) Dexter is such a great show! HBO has really been kicking ass with shows lately. I’m totally into True Blood too, as cheesy as it may seem. Stoked for the new season to start this Sunday. I’m sorry you don’t get to go to Italy but at least its something to look forward to later, right?
