How am I not myself?
Don’t you just love watching I ♥ Huckabees over and over on TV? You don’t? oh. 
I would like to say that converting 56 fanlistings from PHPfanbase to Enthusiast is not enthusing. It is, in fact, hardly bearable. I’ve done about 25 or so, and I need to finish really soon so that I can get my new collective online - which is why I haven’t updated.
I’m moving next Sunday. We set the date, so I’m really excited. The apartment is all finished. Everything is cleaned, it has new carpeting and fresh paint. It will be my mom (the Manic Depressive), my brother (the Epileptic) and myself (the smartass) in a U-Haul for 5 hours. Should be… interesting. I promise to blog about it, and maybe I’ll even post some really shitty pictures! You know, the ones that are all blurry because they’re taken through a car window? The most exciting thing for my readers, I’m sure, is that once the move is over with, there will be no more lame posts like this one.
Fear Before The March Of Flames is playing in Buffalo about a week after I get there, so I will most likely go see them. Justin says there’s a Lightning Bolt show the same night though that he wants to go to instead, so I’d have to go by myself in a brand new city, which is intimidating. I don’t know the subway/bus system there and I don’t know the scene. Some people might not understand why I’d be nervous, but shows are really different across the country. For instance, Philadelphia and DC punk/hardcore shows are known for being extremely violent, and I’m not sure what buffalo will be like. I’m such a pussy. 
Whoaaaw. Converting seems to be pretty shitty, I’m really stupid when it comes to PHP so I give props to you for being able to finish them : )
Moving huh? I’m sure that’d be great experience. Especially with U-haul, a manic depressive, an epileptic and a smartass lol. Good luck with that!

The Bad Brains are from DC. I saw them play at CBGB’s for the last time before they closed the place, and it was borderline riot in the place.

in response to christina, buffalo IS the city. new york may be THE city, but who cares? it should be part of new jersey anyway, that way the city can identify with the rest of it’s state as a complete trash dump. considering the fact that the city of buffalo would have more state revenue if it weren’t for new york city (being that buffalo is the next largest after ny), then it would be a booming city with a definite stronghold in industry, trade, and transportation.
putting all of that aside, it’s less than 2 hours from toronto. not only is that cleaner than new york, it’s friendlier.
in summation, buffalo is the best city in new york state. closely followed by rochester (one hour away), syracuse (2+ hours), and then probably new york. you just can’t get a decentart scene going in a city whose attention is distracted to world renowned artists, and don’t get me started on music… or hockey.

Wow I think that moving should be very eventful to say the least! Although having to drive for 5 hours will be a total pain, I suppose you can sit in the car and plan where you’ll put all the furniture or something?! I hope it goes well!

I know what you mean about cities being different for shows…I go to shows in about five different states, no more like seven? It depends if I’m home or at school… Anyway, the crowds are completely different. In Chicago there are a lot of hecklers..in Indiana, it’s mostly frat boys that think they’re funny because they yell “Play free bird!” and in Milwaukee, it’s just..lame? Heh. Good luck in the new city. If I lived in Buffalo, I would go with you fer sher.
