Feeling even more estranged from the human race.
I’m really looking forward to the Converge show on Wednesday. They’re playing with The Red Chord (who are grindcore-ish) and Genghis Tron, which is an awesome experimental band from Philly. 
There’s another band, too, but I’ve never heard them. For the past month and a half, Justin and I have had a red-sharpied note on our fridge so that we wouldn’t forget to go, like we did with this one show a few months back. Actually, I think we’ve forgotten twice. We don’t have a damn calendar. 
Yesterday, we went downtown to the library and checked out some Jack Kerouac novels and a few movies. If you’re introverted or just really hate people, the library is the place to go. We got some pizza at this little mall that is below an office building, and the food court was packed full of “young professionals”. I overheard this guy talking about how his worst grade in high school was in History, and I was thinking “…what a dumbass”. How can you not love history? I know I’m biased, because I want to teach Social Studies, but damn. It’s almost a cliche… students just “hate” history, they find it boring. I wonder why that is. It was always my favorite subject in school, and my father said it was also his favorite. It’s story-time, but the tales are more truthful, more violent, and you get to argue about them. I don’t understand anyone anymore.
I got the ink cartridges I ordered online, and they didn’t work. Fucking ebay.

I used to have a love-hate relationship toward history. It all depended on what we were covering.

I know what you mean. I’m fascinated by History though. I guess I love learning about the past. History was never my weakest subject, I don’t know how that could be his situation though. =/

I don’t find History that boring. But I’ve had three horrible teachers in a row for History. That could be a good reason as to why the whole world (minus a few) can’t stand learning history. There’s not enough great teachers out there who are passionate enough about it to motivate others to be passionate about it as well. Le sigh.
I’ve fixed WordPress by the way. Sorry for not replying to your email. I’ve been crazy busy lately. Thanks for offering to help me, though. It is greatly appreciated!

I actually used to run a fanlisting some years before and couldn’t remember that rule from back then,but well,now it kinda makes sense to me :)
I think I will apply and maybe they’ll accept me,I’ll let you know (if you care ^^)
About the show…I’ve never heard of those bands but I hope you have fun there…and don’t forget to go ;)
Oh,and I love history,too!
It has always been my fave subject and now I don’t have it anymore :(

CONVERGE! Holy crap thats gonna be an awesome show. I haven’t seen Converge in YEARS. Jealous!!!!!! Have fun though! Take lots of amazing pics!

I AGREE! No one talks to anyone at the library or at least at the one i like =). hm…my fav subject was governemnet and i’m always interested in political science. i might have to deal with a lot of history if i get into that in college. i remember this website lol. you had that wiked airplane layout. awsome. i’m gonna go check your graphics out b/c i loved that layout.
