Lazy Saturday
Lou Reed - Dirty BoulevardWe just got back from having dinner with Justin’s parents. I was sort of nervous, because I don’t see his dad very often since he works so much, and he’s really quiet and shy, so it’s awkward for me. I just don’t know how to talk to people like that. 
We went to this place I’ve been to a few times - it’s an Italian pub/restaurant type of thing…
Yesterday, Justin went dumpster diving with Chris and found a shitload of cupcakes in back of Aldi’s, along with some other things that are still good. Whenever we’re out of “junk food”, I crave it, but now that we have nothing but sweets, I am sick to my stomach just thinking about it.
Anyway, the heat has been a combination of pleasant and annoying this week, and I won’t leave the house. I saw all these girls today wearing skimpy clothes like spaghetti-strap camis, flip-flops and tiny shorts, and I was thinking… “Wow… a couple days with weather in the 70s, and people in Buffalo think it’s a heat wave.” 
I know how you feel about talking to those people…I mean I am shy myself,but I am capable to talk to people :D And those people who are like deadly quiet are awkward indeed :)
Hmm sounds like people all over the world behave the same way as soon as it gets warm,here in Germany you can see that,too.
Concerning Honey McButch…yeah she’s indeed an online love,we met in StudiVZ,a german equivalent to Facebook :)
And I’m sooo nervous,you can’t imagine o_O

I would love to try dumpster diving some time but it isn’t something that I would be willing to do by myself. I’m the same way as you when it comes to sweets– I was craving chocolate cake so we bought one marked down at a bakery— it’s still mostly there.

Yeah, we’re currently getting warmer weather over here as well. Annoying how much people quickly change to their summer wardrobe even though they still will practically freeze their a**e* off - me, i’ll be happily sporting long sleeved shirts until early june at least! :P

I’ve been one of those under dressed girls, sportin’ my spaghetti-strap cami, shorts, and thongs (flip flops). I can’t imagine what the rest of the Summer is going to have in store. I have a feeling it’s going to be a long and hot one.

I wish it would stay in the 70’s here for as long as possible. It’s going to be a scorcher this summer in Vegas. I’m looking forward to heat, but not baking alive in the dry desert heat.

ashley intended the reference to war mweather to mean a sudden shift to the 60s from the 30s and 40s. regardless, there are still idiots here that will wear shorts when there’s a wind-chill rendering the temperature to be in the -20s.
