Bye Bye Bernie

So Bernie Mac passed away today. I was very sad to hear this, since he was only 50 years old. sad It just seems like such a young age to die in these times. I have fond memories of watching my dad’s The Original Kings of Comedy DVD (Steve Harvey, Bernie Mac, D.L. Hughley, and Cedric the Entertainer). Justin and I lived with my dad for a couple months when we weren’t yet on our feet, and we must have watched that DVD together 5 times. My dad is a Bernie fan and always did impersonations, such as the big crazy eyes and the “sumamabitch” thing Bernie always said, and of course his role in Bad Santa is still a quotable favorite. The whole thing is a shame. I guess he had a disease of some sort, because my father said he saw an interview years ago where Bernie was talking about it attacking his organs or something.

George Carlin just died like a month and a half ago, so it’s another bad year for comedy.

Anyway, I uploaded like 60 more songs to the radio and added some little facts/useless information to read through while you listen. Check it out if you’re bored. grin

ah sure bernie mac was a comedy legend and it was surprising to hear it in the news that he’s passed away. to be sure, he had lived a good life. we must remember how he lived it than how he had ended it.

I saw pink-pistol’s new layout. I really really like it by the way.

This is the first I’ve heard of Bernie’s death. But I also don’t watch tv. Or listen to the radio. Or read the paper. Or live. lol.

    But seriously.

I have heard of him, but I have never actually seen anything that he has been in, although I have been wanting to watch Bad Santa for about 3 years lol.

It is sad to hear that people are dying at the age of 50, when most people a living to at least 70.

Evidently the guy who did Chef’s voice on South Park died today or something like that. My friend Chris was telling me about it.

People just keep dropping like flies these days.

Wow, that is pretty young to die. And it’s always sad when you’re a fan of someone and then you find out they’re not around anymore.

Thanks for stopping by at my site, by the way heart

Two geniuses of comedy…dead in less than a few months. Such a shame. The world got a ton less funnier.

I always loved his show…and how he referred to his audience..”America!”

    May he rest in peace.

Isaac Hayes also passed away this weekend. These things always happen in threes, I’d hate to hear who’s next.

Can you believe it? I was saddened by his loss, and I know George Carlin was also one of my favorites too. 50 is pretty much a young age to die in this day in age. May he be in a better place now. I am still at loss of words over his death. To me it’s just so unfair.

I didn’t heard of Bernie Mac’s passing until reading your blog. How sad. It seems like such a young age to die anymore. I don’t watch much TV and only know what you posted, but I guess I must look into his death a little more. To read exactly how he died.

People just seem to be dying younger and younger these days. Unfortunatly my 6 day old cousin died a few weeks ago. People should be allowed to grow old first xxx
