Halloween is in 18 days, mofo!

Duran Duran - Rio

On the 20th, I’m going back to Pennsylvania to stay with my mom for a couple of months. I haven’t seen her or my brother since March, and it should be a nice break from things. Justin and I have been at eachother’s throats for a while now, it just hasn’t been pleasant. Although that’s not the reason I’m visiting my family, I had this planned for a while but it definitely sped things up. In November we’re going to visit my Nana in Jersey, so that should be nice. I haven’t seen my mom’s family in years.

I can’t wait to see the computer my brother built me (the specs are too rad) and I reeeeally can’t wait to have some normal New York-style pizza – w00t! Oh, if I only had a dollar for every time I mention pizza in a post…

Justin’s been very interested in hockey and Arthur Rimbaud lately – an odd combination for anyone else, but pretty normal for him. He’s been equal parts macho-man and literary maven since we moved here. Although I still can’t forgive him for that time I mentioned David Copperfield and he thought I was talking about that magician guy. I nearly fainted. But I guess not everyone grew up going to the Dickens of a Christmas festivals…

I wish I had more of an interest in blogging and reading others’ blogs, but I’ve stayed away from the internet for the most part these last couple months except for the occasional message board. I’m sure it’ll come back to me. This site needs an upgrade and a new layout, I’m really dreading it.

I hope you’ll have fun in Pennsylvania and Jersey =) And hopefully you’ll get your interest in webdesign back soon! Maybe if you look for inspiration?

I hope you have a great time in PA and NJ. It’s probably gonna be awesome to just relax (hopefully) and have some normal pizza. Working is just too overrated. yes
    Thanks for the comment btw.

There’s nothing like real NY pizza! That’s my one fear about leaving this place. Pizza and bagels. :)

Have fun visiting your mom’s side of the family. Funny, I never see my mom’s side of the family either. And it’s weird because they all live pretty close to me. :(

just to clarify, the pizza here is new york pizza, because it is made in new york. it’s just not flat and lifeless like unlevened bread.

the rangers aren’t doing as well as everyone thought they would, either. go sabres!

not that i hate new york city, but people should stop detracting from great cities like buffalo and rochester simply because nyc is a world financial center. that is, unless everyone is content with new york city and the rest of the population in the west and southwest 20 years from now.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a macho-man/nerd at the same time. I find it very easy to flex my muscles and discuss the mathematical formula that solves for amount of damage served in Pokemon. No really…it’s sad. Props to him.

Have fun at with your family! But don’t stray too far from the interwebz! I’ll miss you!

And what kind of computer did he build you!? I’m interested in these specs!

    xo
