A hat and some classes.
I’ve been busy with classes, but also a bit lazy; I just didn’t feel like blogging! Apparently I did have some time to take bathroom photos of myself in my new red hat that I bought on Etsy.
Other than that, college is just a lot of jumping through hoops to get a piece of paper in order to teach… it’s not as stimulating as I thought it’d be. Most of my knowledge and enjoyment is derived from simply reading the assigned textbooks (minus my one Education book which is too PC for it’s own good). Next year I will be at a larger college, but it’s still just another SUNY school so I can’t be sure if it’ll get much better.
I have two exams tomorrow, so I should get back to studying. Blogging was just another way for me to procrastinate, it seems! I’ll leave you with a quote:
For disappearing acts, it’s hard to beat what happens to the eight hours supposedly left after eight of sleep and eight of work. ~Doug Larson

Oh, she’s alive! XD I love that hat! So cute. I look terrible in hats of all kinds. I avoid them. Also, what school are you transferring to?

Good luck getting through your program. How many years is it? Mine was 2 years and that second year was torture. No one wanted to be in class anymore. We had a taste of being in the classroom having taught 2 months the year before. We just wanted to be done.
What Kafka stories have you been reading? I had to read some of his stuff in my undergrad program and kept the book for the class. I just read it over again a few months ago. I enjoy his work too.

I’ve been thinking of taking educational courses as well, maybe become an english teacher for high school students. i go to a CUNY though cause they are cheaper, and I live in the city. But good luck in class and hope you passed your exams!!!!

OMG you have returned!
Hope you’ve had a good gazillion months. ;) Yeah I feel you on the college front–I love learning things through reading, but other than that… not really my thing. Actually, though, most of my textbooks are super-boring. Sight.
Also that’s a great hat. And you should tell more about the classroom observation stuff! Sounds cool yo.
