I like a lot of different stuff. My music selection is diverse and I listen to everything from 80′s pop to thrash metal. I like to stay true to myself, and I realized long ago that your musical taste should never define who you are. I still listen to Michael Jackson, and I’m okay with that. Some people get so lost in what is cool and what isn’t cool, that they no longer can decide for themeselves what sounds good and what doesn’t. It’s sad, and that is why bands like Panic! At The Disco and Bullet For My Valentine are around. Eww.
Someone gave me a site review once and said that I had way too many favorite bands listed here, just paragraph on top of paragraph of bands. So I decided that yeah, she’s right, and I made just this top 12 list:

Because I couldn’t resist completely, some of my other favorites include: Standstill (Spanish, not American), Converge, The Locust, Dead to Fall, Planes Mistaken for Stars, Between The Buried And Me, You and I, I Hate Myself, Circle Takes The Square, Q and not U, and always Dashboard Confessional, because his EPs broke me into the scene when I was 14 (2001).
I love older music as well, such as Billy Joel, David Bowie, The Cure, Fear Before the March Of Flames, Talking Heads, Elton John, etc. I listen to lots of Classical music by Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky, Chopin and all the other greats.
