I no longer wish I were dead!

Anatomy of a Ghost - Streetlights, Empty Wells

I’m pretty much all better, except for some residual congestion. gross Justin has been coughing so hard and so often, that he has to sleep on the couch because he keeps me awake at night. He was taking codeine for a week, but it hasn’t helped him shake the cough. I think it’s acute Bronchitis, but he doesn’t have health care and can’t go to the doctor. The codeine was given to him by his grandfather. I feel really sorry for him. cry

Since I was practically catatonic with the flu for a while, I got to update with more magazine scans and precut PNGs. I just thought I’d plug those, more for SEO reasons than to actually inform you guys, lol.

Tomorrow is Mother’s Day here in the USA, and I just sent out my mom’s card today, so it will be late. I’m kind of pissed off about that, because I bought the card a month ago, and I hate being late with them. Anyway, everyone be good to your mommies, and if you live at home: clean your fucking room! Damn kids. wink

What do we get for our trouble and pain?

I have been sick for the past week (thanks to the boyfriend). I’m alive, although barely, so I forced myself to update. Justin just got his new bicycle, and he’s been riding it all over the place, using every excuse to get out of the house. I’m happy for him, although slightly jealous. Not of the bike, but of the hundreds of dollars he could have spent on me. Juuuust kidding cute

So I’m still locked up with this flu, watching old episodes of Top Model, and quoting Smiths lyrics in response to questions. Right before I got sick, I told myself I’d go to the mall to return a couple things and buy some summer clothes, but now I find myself surfing ebay for cheap DVD-Rs. None of the meds I’ve taken have helped, although that could be because they expired two years ago. thinking

Anyway, if anyone’s into breaking the law, I have over 60 albums uploaded to rapidshare, in addition to the other ones that have been on this site since forever. Have fun, pirates.

Teeth

The Blood Brothers - Cecilia

I’ve been telling myself to blog, but just didn’t want to, even though the week has been slightly more interesting than usual. It’s funny though, because now I don’t know how to launch into it all. Maybe I just won’t cute

There’s been an abundance of noise and general annoyances in front of our apartment building all week. We live on Main Street, and they’re doing road construction this spring/summer, fixing it up all nice and everything I guess… anyway, when I’m bored, I stare out the windows and watch the big machines. I could go for a walk or something, but leaving the house would pressure me to spend money, and I’m saving for Justin’s birthday on May 28th. He’ll be (gasp!) 23.

I’m getting my wisdom teeth out within the next month. woot Also, I’m going to look into getting braces (again) because my bottom teeth are crooked from the wisdom teeth coming in and me not wearing my bottom retainer for years. I got my braces off when I was in 9th grade, and now I’m 21 and thinking about going through that horror again. Do you know anyone who got braces in their 20s?

Lazy Saturday

Lou Reed - Dirty Boulevard

We just got back from having dinner with Justin’s parents. I was sort of nervous, because I don’t see his dad very often since he works so much, and he’s really quiet and shy, so it’s awkward for me. I just don’t know how to talk to people like that. blush We went to this place I’ve been to a few times – it’s an Italian pub/restaurant type of thing…

Yesterday, Justin went dumpster diving with Chris and found a shitload of cupcakes in back of Aldi’s, along with some other things that are still good. Whenever we’re out of “junk food”, I crave it, but now that we have nothing but sweets, I am sick to my stomach just thinking about it.

Anyway, the heat has been a combination of pleasant and annoying this week, and I won’t leave the house. I saw all these girls today wearing skimpy clothes like spaghetti-strap camis, flip-flops and tiny shorts, and I was thinking… “Wow… a couple days with weather in the 70s, and people in Buffalo think it’s a heat wave.” lol
